finance manager // moochi head office, Auckland

due to continued growth and changes within the business we are seeking an experienced and driven finance manager to oversee all financial operations of the group.
working with an assistant accountant and reporting to the business owners this is a crucial senior management role for the business.

you will be responsible for the following:

  • overseeing all tax requirements - PAYE, GST, provisional tax and IR filing
  • ensure accurate accounts for all entities through to P&L and balance sheet
  • preparation of monthly P&L and management reporting pack
  • regular goal setting of business strategies with the senior management team
  • cashflow management and forecasting to ensure we are maximising working capital
  • work closely with the retail manager on target setting and reporting to ensure our retail stores are meeting budgets and targets
  • be a signatory and approve all outgoing payments for the group.
  • manage external stakeholder relationships with banks, accountants etc.
  • prepare KPI monthly and quarterly reporting for all departments - marketing, retail and operations.
  • oversee all relevant intercompany transactions and ensure all entries are accurate and complete.
  • annual budget preparation
  • annual year-end account completion

to be successful you will have a strong accounting background, will have a strong commercial acumen, at least 3+ years in a similar senior role.
this is a dynamic, challenging role for someone who likes to be busy and see the results of their work. you will have real input into the financial strategy and direction of the business.
